CHURCH INAUGURATES MILITARY PLAN TO INCREASE INTEREST

Following a banquet in Kable's banquet hall, Friday evening, the men of the First Christian chur"h forming the otficers' corps, of a new military plan to increase the interest in work of the Sunday school and church, elected officers and adopted a constitution. This is expected to be a permanent plan and will include every male above the age of 1 years who can be enlisted in the work. IJ. J. Abbot and C. W. Coen are the colonels of the regiments, which are to be known .is the "Yanks" and the "Sammies." A preat enthusiasm is shown in the workings of this novel plan which includes colonels, captains, privates and is on strictly military lines.

CONCERT PROGRAM

The program for the Sunday afternoon concert to be given at 4 o'clock in the First Presbyterian church will be presented by Mis Xina Gabel of Mishawaka, pianist, and the Notre Dame Glee club, under the direction of Prof. John Pecker.
