pier days, followed by pictures of the same places in ruins. Not all of the views are of this character, however, as the first part of the travel talk is made up of pictures showingwhat Mr. Newman calls "the business of war" the great undertaking of feeding, clothing, housing and transporting an army. This business furnishes inspiring material for pictures and there is joy in .seeing the way prisoners of war are put to tasks of digging and building. The daily life of the American boys is also shown. Anions the most striking and interesting of the photographs are those of the American aviators in France for here again Mr. Newman gives us intimate and first hand information. AT TIIK AI'DITOIUUM. Her own sex treat her with contempt, but it is to this woman of the underworld that they turn to in time of trouble, with the full knowledge that they will receive all the. help in their power. The fascinating French dancer of world-wide farmr. Gaby Deslys has the distinction, among professional gossipers, cf spending more on adornment for her head than she decs on the drapery of her body. Think of investing $203,000 for hats. Hats, however, are but a humble characterization of the marvelous headgear this famous French actress exhibits in this photodrama. During the run of this picture Gaby Deslys and her dancing partner, Harry Pilcer, who have for years mystified this country and Europe with their sensztional dancing, will present every dance that has made them famous in this grand production.

was shown at the Oliver a short time ago and created a great deal cf talk, and at the same time gave the greatest of satisfaction. The women folks were more than astonished at the marvelous gowns and headgear of Gaby Deslys. The massive, big spectacle and ballet dancing scenes are truly wonderful. Suffice to say, anyone who misses this special French production is missing a rare treat. We also present a laughable two-reel comedy "Freckled Fish," making this a very fine eight-reel show. A better ladies' matinee show could not be asked for. Prof. Shamp's musical selections will add greatly to "Infatuation."
