According to eye witnesses Mr. Hull was driving his machine across Colfax bridge, going west, at the rate of -0 miles an hour, and did not diminish thia speed when he crossed Michigan st. Mr. Johnson was going north and expected the other car to slow down, which it did not do. When lie saw that th3 othT machine was not going to stop and realizing that he could not stop in time to avert the accident, made a uuick swing to the left, hitting Mr. Hull's ear a glancing blow and smashing the fender. Mr. Hull claims that the accident was the fault of the taxi driver, and that the taxi driver ran into him. The right front wheel or: the jitney bus waf demolished and tlu radiator was badly damaged.

STANDARD OIL CO. ENTERTAINED AT Y. An entertainment, a stunt night, nas given the Stanoco club of the Standard Oil Co. at the Y. M. C. A. last night. The stunts opened with a basketball game between the upstairs and downstairs departments of the oil company, both the ladies and the men participating. This w; followed by boxing, races, tug-of-war and many other laugh producing stunts in which both the boy and girls took part.
