On every hand one is apt to hear the opinion that Chiropractic is all very good for abnormalties of the spine, and many people who will advise their friends to take adjustments for that type of trouble, are totally ignorant regarding the scope of Chiropractic possibilities. It is true that the great majority of cases that come to the Chiropractor are those of long standing; old chronic cases which the medical profession has given up as hopeless, and which as a last resort turn to Chiropractic. Rheumatism, which medicines and liniments have failed to relieve, headaches of all descriptions, internal disorders, appendicitis both acute and chronic, together with many different forms of paralysis are among the common cases which ccme everv day and which are receiving benefits far more than their expectations. It is because the Chiropractor has been giving so much attention to these old chronic cases that the public nas come to look upon this method as limited in its extent to the chronic cases and only those of a certain kind. Few realize that Chiropractic is a science, so broad in its possibilities that with the exception of those injuries which are classed as traumatic (caused by direct external injury viz., fracture of bone, cutting or mangling of tissues, etc.) every known disease is within its jurisdiction. With this knowledge becoming more and more extended there is an ever increasing number of acute cases which are learning to realize the benefits of Chiropractic and the more remarkable results which are obtained through adjustments than in cases of long standing. T LIFE OF

LEAGUE IS GUT

Eliminated From Draft Because There is Provision For Amendment.

By United Tress: PARIS. Feb. 15. One of the most important articles of the league of nations constitution was understood today to have been eliminated at the last moment before its presentation to the general peace congress. This provided that the life of the league, in its present form, should be 10 years. The reason for the reported withdrawal of this provision could not be ascertained. It was believed, however, that Inasmuch as the present organization is only tentative, and may be amended greatly before it is formally adopted by the member nations, that there was no essential reason for placing a time limit on continuation of the organization as how constituted. The provision regarding admission of new members is so framed that Germany and Austria cannot be included in the league until they give absolute assurance that they wll live up to the peace terms imposed upon them. The other. great candidate for membership, Russia, must also furnish guarantees. Alined at These Nations. This particular article is believed to have been aimed principally at these three nations, as all other countries of importance will be signatories at the outset.
