ENDEAVORS TO INTEREST RETURNED SOLDIERS IN SPORTS In a statement to tho XewsTimes last night. Physical Director Cohlmeyer. of the V. M. C. A., said it had been learned that a Kreat many of the returned soldiern formerly were commercial league basketball players. 'We wish to make tho now- commercial baskethall league the strongest it has been in years and we need these men to do it. I would like to have every one of these returned soldiers that wish to go back into tho game moot me at the V. M. at 7 o'clock Wednesday night, to talk it over." A great many of the basketball teams were handieaped by their mcr. Hocking to the colors when the Fnited States entered the war. Now that those mgn are back in civil life, the Y.
