Blackburne. a thoroughly up-to-date and capable hotel man, has taken charge of the management of the Mishawaka hotel, the change being made on account of the resignation of Mr. DeVault. Mrs. Blackhum will be associated with her husband in the management. Mr. blackburne comes to Mishawaka from Galesburg, III., where for the past three years he has managed the Elks' home and the Soangetahu golf club. Previous to that time he was connected with several of the best hotels in Europe and on this continent, and comes to Mishawaka very highly recommended. Mr. and Mrs. Blackburne are resourceful and progressive, and their extensive experience in hotel and club management bespeaks for the local hostlery an era of success. The maintenance of a first-class hotel in this city such as is deserved and needed, will, it is pointed out, by those interested In Its success, only be possible through the cooperation and support of the people. Mr. Blackburne will offer many popular inducements to the people of Mishawaka in order to obtain their support in the undertaking.
