Cehlert. head of the lienton Fruit Products Co. of Benton Harbor and vice president of the Farmers and Merchants' bank, is dead at his home here after a three weeks' sickness with typhoid pneumonia. He was 56 years old. Mr. Cehlcrt established his business here :!0 years ago and it has rown to be one of the largest pickle industries in the state. He was a member of the F. ami A. M., Knights Templar, Paladin Temple. Order of the Mystic Shrine of (Jrand liapids and the Klks. He is survived by his widow, on and daughter.

Judse Francis J. Vurpillat. dean tif the Notre Dame law school, returned Thursday to the university after a three weeks speaking tour throughout the state. Jud-e Vurpillat spoke under the auspices of the state national defense on the causes of United States' entry in the war.
