Domestic Science Classes Being; Formed For South Bend Women.
Women will be interested in the new domestic .cience class which is beinjr formed at the hi-;h school which will include a tive-lesson course on "How to Meet Meatless Days." The classes will hjgin Wednesday at -: 3 0 o'clock at the hiu'h school kitchen and any woman who is interested may register between now nnd that time. Mis Florence "Weld will instruct the class, which may include .la. With the establishment of the meatless days, new problems have confronted women, sdnce their knowledge of palatable dishes in which the most nourishing of foods i are used is limited. Miss Weld will take up the study of the ways in which fish, beans, cheese, milk, nuts and es ks may be prepared as substitutes for meat. All vocational classes at the hiuh school will resume work this week. War conditions are bein con.-ddiued in all of these classes, which include cookinK. sewing and millinery.
