Ky., Sept. l'F An idea of what tho men who come here for training in the new national army wid encounter can he pained from the above ?ohelu!e of the daily work. At present the men are suffering from stiff and sore arms, having been innoculated with both typhoid and smallpox vaccine. The camp covers between l'.OOO anl 2 ".0 0 0 acres, and presents a maze of similar looking" buildings to the inexperienced rookies. All the first arrivals are already hard at work studying diligently, in order that they may qualify for positions as non- ommissioned ofbeers. The chances for advancement are good, but certain knowledge is demandel before the men higher up consider promotion. Most of the men are anxious to hear the news of their homo towns. COQUILLARD SCHOOL DRAWS FIRST PRIZE Prizes have been awarded in the school Mower exhibit in the woman's building at the fair grounds, the Coquillard school drawing the first prize of $ 7 . T 0 . The prizes range from $7.00 down to $'l, and the order of awards is as follows: First, Coquillard; second, Muessel; third, Kiver Park; fourth, Oliver; fifth. Franklin: sixth.
