South Fend parks will have no band concerts this summer. This action was taken at the meetin? of the park board held last nisht. and was due to the fart that the city council did not see tit to make any appropriation for continuing the entertainments. A committer of citizens representing those who live near Leeper park came before the board with the rennest that the little dressing: rooms near the wadin? pool be removed. The complaint is that some unthinkin? persons are using: the houses to commit nuisances. An Investigation will be made. The resolution to widen Fwin? av. to 100 feet from Miami st. west to Prairie av.. was adopted, and the resolution for a similar widenin? ea t from Miami st. was approved.
