MOVIE HOUSES MAY SEND UP ADMISSION PRICES
Two local movie houses are reported about ready to et into the price raising 1-and-wauon and boost tip their admission prices. The IaSalle and Auditorium are the two ho'.ses referred to. Cut when M,r. Kzra Hhodes of the La.alle and Mr. Ceore Mines of the Auditorium were broached on the subject Wednesday niyht they denied such intentions. Chodes admitted that a representative from the Auditorium had come to him forr time a'-ro on the matter. According to the report current both houses are considering a tentative agreement to dispense with live cent admissions. In case the agreement tfoes into effect and either one 1 reakr; it. a forfeit bond of JiHHi is to be paid, runs the report. Mgr. Rhodes said it may be necessary to raise his prices if the contemplated -var tax on movies is approved by congress.
