Groups of Ten Will be Accepted For the Same Regiment.

John Fkees, of the local army recruiting station Saturday. This apecial order was received from the war department Saturday and goes into effect at once. There are now about K men enlisted in South IJend. Kxaminations of men for this company, Co. 1. the machine (,'un company and th supply company probably will be siven early next week.
COUPLE ON HONEYMOON UP IN CITY COURT
Kalamaoo Man ami Wife round Not Guilty on In'oxicatioa Cliarjr'.
The honeymoon of Mr. and Mrs. William Pierce. Kalamazoo, Mich., had a very Rood tart but ended 'n the city court Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Pierce, alons with Margaret Uobett and George Powhall. came to South Pend Friday morning to get married. Miss Pobett and Powhall to act as witnesses. The marriage ceremony was performed Friday morning by Justice of the Peace 12. J. Peak. Following the ceremony the party started out for dinner and according to the testimony in the city court they each had a glass of beer with their thinner. The young people strolled the streets of the city and were having a very good time until they were noticed by Patrolman William., who stopped them and a-ked if they had been drinking. The ofheer was Informed that they had a glass of beer with their dinner. When arraigned before City Judge I. M. Hammerschmidt the four were found not guilty of intoxication and discharged.
HELD ON $1,000 BOND John Moxcy Is AccumiI of AxaultInir Young Girl. John Moxey, Negro, arraigned in city court Saturday on a statutory charge, wan bound oer to the circuit court grand jury under Sl.Onn bond. According to the affidavit filed by Mrs. Maud Tyler. Negro, Moxey a.aulted her daughter. Walter Smith, charged with assault and battery, received a continuance on his cae until Monday. Smith ani his brother, William, are said to have broken into the residence of their brother-in-law and beat him up. William's case will be given a hearing Monday along with his brothers.

Of this number 2 4,292 packages were shipped from the local ofVue while 14.930 were received for delivery. The weight of the matter was 4 4.2"9 pounds while the receipts from the matter sent amounted 11.900.39.
