Tests made by the city health department of the milk that is being distributed in the city showed a variation all the way from 1.,000 to I'UO.ooo bacteria per cubic centimeter. Milk supplied by the Green Mountain farm that is unpasteurized h -ld enly 13.0 00 bacteria, while that supplied b the Horv ath-Podor company held 100,000 per cubic centimeter. Variations in the percentage of butter fat is noted from 4.0 per cent in the samples of 1 G. Hinz to three per cent in the pasteurized milk furnished by Roy H. Troupe. Fi'e samples of water were also tested and one, that taken from the well at IOIjs 1-2 Main st., was condemned as unsafe, since it was found to contain gas and acid bacteria. Approximately -T0 bacteria was found to the cubic centimeter. Another sample from 1116 S. Catalpa st.. held 213 bacteria and it was recommended that this well should be cleaned. The city water

Pay Wife's Alimony.

Decause he had failed to pay an allowance granted by the court to his wife when they were divorced, Robert Kominski was found guilty of contempt of court by Judge Walter A. Funk in circuit court Tuesday morning and sentenced to .U days in the county jail. Kominski owes a total of $126 to his wife. Lillian M. Kominski. The woman was granted a divorce last spring on the grounds of cruel treatment.

Walsh admitted that he knew Gregory, who was taken hack to Ohio several days ago to answer a charge of arson and horse stealing, and Sheriff Eeader recognized Walsh as a notorious "dip," who had served a term in the Ohio prison. S. W. Stenger was sentenced Tuesday to a term of one to eight years in prison on a charge of larceny. He is alleged to have stolen some clothing and cash from the "Curley" Wise lunch room on Tyler avenue. Stenger was apprehended in Cleveland, O., and was brought back here by Sheriff leader.
