TEKKE HAirTK. Ind.. June 21. Muskeiron took Terre Haute down to a double header Wednesday afternoon. After the locals had apparently won the first game in the eighth inning. Muskegon came back with winning runs. Cramer established a new strikeout record for the season by fanning 12 men. The second game went to Muskegon in the second inning, when a collection of three bases on balls, a sacrifice hit. two errors and a fluke hit scored three runs. It was a pitcher's battle between Compton and Schettler, in which each team had but one man left on bases.

dermilk coming through with o safe blow. Iteilly llitlin- .310. The addition of Reilly and Collins has been a great help to the local aggregation. Hoth of these men are hitting around the .HOO mark. Iteilly has taken part in tight games and has hit safely at least once in each of the seven games. He has been to the plate 29 times and has driven out ten hits which give him a )orcentage better than ..140. Collins has been hitting regularly and in thirty trips to the plate has got eight safe blows which gives him a .297 average. Smith last week predicted that his team would get going soon and promised the local fans a regular club by July 1. He has several days of grace and it looks as if I'd would keep his promise. There has been many clubs made by the addition of one man and the signing of the two new outfielders seems to have put new li.'e In the local aggregation. Collins and Reilly took part in the last game with (Irand Ilapids and

i the locals dropped that. Then they

split two games with Muskegon, won one and lost two at Terre Haute and took one from Kvansville. This

ghes the bunch almost an oven j break with a chance to more than better the mark this afternoon. i
