Mrs. Em ma Parnard winning the favor in the lishing contest. The club will have another afternoon meeting June 2? at the home of Mrs. Ida Evans. Sixth st., Itiver Park. A large number of girl members of the U l II. O. club of the Y. W. C A. held a picnic supper last evening at IJrnndywine creek on the Rosencrans and Fawler farm. The youn women had planned to spend the evening, but the rainy weather compelled them to return early. The decorations for the rooms were effectively carried out by the use of pink and white roses. The party was in the nature of a miscellaneous shower for the honor guest. Refreshments were served. According to Dr. Raer there were mere than 8,000 physicians from over the country at the session on Wednesday, and the programs were of much interest and benefit to the doctors. Elizabeth and one daughter. The funeral arrangements have not been completed. Rurial will be in Cedar Grove cemetery. An acre of land in Nova Scotia is said to have produced 3u0 bushels of potatoes.
