The Civic federation. , composed of representatives of the 1.1 civic clubs, will meet tonight and it is probable that the housing question will be taken up. Miss Wolf will speak. Mrs. Nicholson is an experienced manager, having -eted in that capacity at the .Robertson tea. room until recently. The Inn is a very attractive place. It occupies a large, airy room at tho west end of the building overlooking Lafayttte and Jefferson sts. Tho walls are linished with mottle brown with stencilled mural decorations in shades of brown and green, with an elfective touch of blue. The window hangings are of cretonne with tan and rose figures on a black and white striped background. I-"urnish-ings are in fumed oak. Specially Dolgmtl Funiiture. One of the interesting features about the furniture is the fact that, with the exception of the chairs, it was built by Mr. Nicholson. Ills handiwork is representel in the pedestaled tables, the especially designed serving tables, buffet and tho racks for wraps and umbrellis. He also designed ant made the unique serving trays ami contracted the tattle and tiers of shelves which are included in the kitchen equipment. Hie kitchen is modern in every- respect ami is arranged in detail to conserve the time and energy of the help. One of the important features of the equipment is a huge oven, home made bread stuffs of every description having been elected the specialty of the Nicholson Inn.
