Horton stated that if hasehall was adopted as a sport, the school would stand for half the suits at the end of the season. As this was holding the baseball men very closp the students voted for interciass 'Competition in the hopes of arousing interest in the .Port ;nd of having a team in another year. Charles Lyons, the hide thief arrested by the lcal police, will not liKht extradition to Milford, 111., to ans-vver to the charge of grand larceny, according to his attorney, Isaac K. Parts. Milford authorities were expected here Friday night or early Saturday morning, and on their return. Lyons will accompany them. Lyons protests his innocence, maintaining he Is the victim of a frame-up by his brother, Kd Iyons. and George Wilson. "When arrested Thursday night. Lyons tried to effect fc.li escape snatching for Detective Turbush'a sun, but instead meeting that huky offlcer's fist. He made no further attempts to get away.
