Kvansville. is expected to put in a strong bid for the job of second catcher. He is 2.1 years old and has had a couple of years of minor league experience. I. Chauncey Bich, who vas signed by the Vets and then released, did not sit down and weep. He took his pen in hand and wrote, "I will pay my own expenses to get a tryout. I am game to the core.
