AT Till; .MAJPT1( "The Lure." brought hack for a return engagement, is shown at the Majestic today. It is a realistic and sensational picturization of some of the evils of the white slave tratlic. It has been pronounced a strong moral story and has attracted much attention elsewhere. n Thursday's program and continuing the balance of the week, Miss Winnifred l'aire. a classic dancer of the Both St. Denis school, will give frequent performances of the poetis and artistic movements she is so proficient in. On Saturday the great New York hippodrome spectacle, "America", is shewn on the screen in tive realistic reels. This metropolitan production has been pictured with lifelike fidelity and the attraction is one of interest to all who enjoy magnificent pictures.

AT Till: COLONIAL. The Colonial j rogram today shows the tirst of an hreresting series, each complete in ther.;selves, and tVepicting various phases of modern life under the general caption: "Who Pays?" This subject is devoted to the pursuit of fame and answers the question whether the honor secured by an artist is worth the sacrifices necessary to obtain the prize. Other pictu es, "God is Love and a Keystone comedy are on the same bill.

at Tin; oupm:rM. The new bill at the Orpheum today offers another musical comedy treat, for "The Luck of the Totem" is really the operatic success of a fev seasons ago, "The Alaskan", condensed for vaudeville. Harry Girard and Agnes Caine Brown are the featured players in the musical sketch. They played principal roles with the original production at the Auditorium in 1907. This Is not a tabloid, hut a singing act. with special setting and the choice bits of a capital score arranged for this purpose. Haviland and Thornton. another musical comedy pair, will offer their original act. "At Trouville"; LeUoy and Cahill. capital singers and entertainers, have a novelty; Alice Teddy, always a favorite with the children, will be seen in new and comical stunt; Bertie Ford, a wire artist, will demonstrate the ease with which tangoing in the air may be accomplished.

at Tin: lasallt;. "Satan Sanderson" is the title of the feature picture at the Lasalle today. As a novel and as a play it was a success. Norman Hackett played it for several seasons. Orrin Johnson plays the title role in the picture. Mr. Johnson's work on tho American stage is too well known to be commented upon here: while the novel of "Satan Sanderson" has been widely read. It tells the story of Satan Sanderson. Hugh Stires and Jessica Holme, a beautiful and romantic blind girl, ward of David Stires. father of Hugh Stires. At the opening of the story Sanderson is a minister. David Stires is signing his will making Jessica his sole heir, thereby disinheriting his dissolute' son Hugh. Hugh runs away, secures help from Sanderson and see the rest of this

wonderful story play in motion tures at this theater. On Friday, always a special ture day when the Paramount

tures are shown. Victor Moore makes

his initial appearance a.s a motion picture star in "Snobs". It is travesty on the ways of high society. Moore, who is a clever vaudeville comedian, plays a milkman, impersonating a titled nobleman. He has a gay time, falls in love -with an heiress, is exposed but the girl sticks. Happy finale and lots of fun.
