The title role is played by Petty P.ellairs, a blond beauty, who adds a striking personality to the adventurous role of a Spanish dancing girl. There are brigands, and duels; intrigues, fights and sentimental love sc enes and the picture has been well produced. The picture possesses fine photography and artistic settings. To procure the realistic Spanish locale the producers have gone to the extent of erecting entire villages, which boast of a noticeable substantiality, uncommon to exterior settings. These scenes, peopled with supernumeraries garbed in pleasing Spanish costumes, lend a distinct realism to the entire ofl'e ring. On Wednesday one of the most dramatic of modern pictures will be shown with William Farnum in the title role. "Tho Nigger" is a wonderfully written story concerning a white governor of the south, engaged to a society belle and then aecuseel of having Negro blood in his veins. Farnum never did more strenuous work than GIRLS IM BAD HEALTH Hundreds of girls go to work day after day, afflicted with some ailment peculiar to their sex, dragging one foot wearily after the other, working always with one eye on the clock and wishing for closing time to come. Fvery such girl should rely on Lydia F. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound to restore her to a normal healthy condition, then work will be a pleasure.
