This will he tho first real opportunity for the South Bend fans to see the lloosiers in action this spring and as tho majority of the players appear to be in excellent trim they should put up a good battle. The Hoosier Creams aro particularly strong this year having picked the star local players to make up tho club. Hanson defeated the Smith recruits last pprlng and is anxious to try his hand at tho leaguers again. Charley White of Chicago and Jimmy Duffy of Lockport, N. Y., fought to a draw before the Queensberry A. C, tonight in one of tho most sensational bouts ever staged in Buffalo. In the first round White put Duffy to his hands and knees with a left jolt to the jaw. Duffy remained in that position for the count of nine and weathered the round in good shape. In the second Duffy caught White on tor point of the Jaw and tumbled him to tho tloor. White waited on his knees for the four count and boxed cautiously for the remainder of the round.
