The .subject for the day being "The Child at .School". Mrs. "William Inwood read a paper on "Glimpses of Kindergarten"; Mrs. Anna Henderson read a b allet on "Thank Offering"; Mrs. K. M. Morris had a reading and Mrs. Paul "Walters had charge of the "Mystery Fox" which concluded the program. Refreshments were .served at the close of the afternoon by the hostesses. Mcsdames Walker Flace. Miles Fasfott, J. Petit and John Dyers. The .society will meet Apr. 7 at the tabernacle. Mrs. Walter Funk, ir.Z W. Washington a v., was hostess to the members of the Wednesday club Wednesday afternoon. The subject for the day wax "The Mohammedan Rebellion". Mrs. F. K. Austin was leader. A social time followed the meeting. The members of the club will entertain March 10 in the studio rooms of the J. M, S. building when Mrs. Flla Adams Moore of Chicago will lecture on "Modern Switzerland". The next regular meeting of the club will be .March 17 at the home of Mrs. F. F. Austin. W. Jefferson blvd. The Woman's Dible class o met Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. F. P. Shirk, 11 If E. Marion st. The study of Exodus was continued and Mrs. M. I. Mitchell was the leader. The class will meet March 17 with Mrs. Shirk. Mrs. Nelson Jones was hostess to the members of the Shakespeare circle Wednesday afternoon. The usual current events discussion was held, Mrs. A. Staples had a paper on "Foxer Uprising", Mrs. F. H. P. rugger on "War With Japan" and Mrs. W. O. Williams on "Face". A social time was njoyed. Mrs. F. H. P.rug!:or. in 9 W. Members of the Modern Aachtcs Hub were entertained Tuesday evening by Miss Vada Ferg, IMS Kemble a v. The features of the evening were a "Pullman party" and music. The regular monthly meeting of the Woman's auxiliary of St. James' Fpiscopal church was held at the home of Mrs. Harry Klljott. vf W. Colfax av.. Wedm sday aft moon. Mrs. Fickenseher gave a synopsis of the life of Judson. the famous misfionary, and M-s Mary May White gave an interesting talk on her recent visit to North Carolina and of the life of the people in the mountain cabins in Highland, a missionary field.
