Following an address given by Ralph N. tfmith, formerly proseeLitintr atttrney of Laportu county and the organization of a "Community Welfare association.'" an announcement was made Thursday that the county commissioners of Starke county would be petitioned to call a special election in March to determine whether the town shall remain wet or the saloons abolished. The crusade was agitated immediately after the close of a revival meeting several das ago in which nearly all the unconverted portion of the community professed religion. Starke county is. now dry in spots.
