Appetite Follows Good Digestion

Nearly everyone indulges their appetite and the digestive organs are ahused, resulting a toii;r stion of polfonous waste that clogs the bowels and causes much misery iind distress. The most effective remedy to correct this condition is the combination of simple lexative herb with pepsin known Js Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin. This is a natural, pleasant-tasting remedy, irentle yet positive in action, and quickly relle-'es indigestion, conMipation, sick headache, belching, etc. Drug stores poll Ir. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin at fifty cents and on dollar a bottle, and in thousands of homes it is the indispensable family remedy. For a free trial bottle write Dr. W. B. Caldwell, 451 Washington St. Monticello. 111. WHITE CROSS IS NOT CONNECTED WITH LOCAL TUBERCULOSIS SOCIETY That a number of people are being misled into donating money to an organization known as the National White Cross society of Chicago, now soliciting in this city for the support of a Children's home at Wheaton, III., on the supposition that the solicitors are connected with "Good Will week," and that the money kocs to the local Anti-Tuberculosis society, has been brought to the attention of Mrs. "W. B. Pond, president of the local society. "The National White Cross society is In no way connected with the National Red Cross society, and no one need be misled to donate to the former on the supposition that it will bo an aid to the local Anti-Tuberculosis society," Mrs. Pond declared Tuesday. "I understand that they are selling what they call 'White Cross' certificates for $5, and a lot of people are taking them, presuming them to be a part of the "Good Will movement, even though the solicitors carefully avoid handing out such assurances." The matter has been brought to the attention of the city authorities, and the White Cross society being a foreign corporation, organized in New Jersey, a license to canvass will be required if the solicitors are located.
