Fox of Detroit, one of civic improvement with Mrs. Anna Walter as chairman and another in the form of an art conservation led by Mrs. Marguerite Phillips. Tuesday evening Mrs. Frank I'. COLLAPSES IN CELL DETROIT. Oct. 10. Joseph C. Richardson, said to be a prominent merchant at Sault Sto. Marie, Ont.. and prominent in religious and social affairs In that city, was arrested by Immigration Officer Leonard S. Coyne and Detective Lester Potter Saturday afternoon as a fugitive from justice. Richardson is wanted in the Canadian Soo on the charge of larceny of $000 from the Dominion Sugar company, Wallaceburg, Ont., and the telegram on which he was arrested says he is wanted also on the charge of embezzlement, and several other c harges of larceny. A jvarrant on the charge of stealing the $900 will arrive in Detroit today. As soon as Richardson was registered he collapsed in the detective office and It was necessary to call a physician. He sobbed prayer after prayer and appeared to be suffering from a nervous collapse.
