Livingston Wiggins, who will give aerial exhibitions here during the three days of the fair this week, arrived in the city Tuesday with a Wright bi-jdane in which Mr. Wiggins will make his flights. Keasor has begun to assemble the machine, which is the same one in which Cal Kogers made his trans-continental trip some months ago. Wiggins has lately been giving exhibitions in Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Indiana. He will arrive in the city Wednesday morning, accompanied by his wife.

Mishawaka will have two aeroplanes for its big celebration commencing Thursday and lasting until Saturday night. This was decided upon at a meeting of the executive committee Tuesday night. By a misunderstanding. O. E. Williams, the boy wonder of Detroit, who does the tango in mid-air, was led to believe that he was ensaged to come to Mishawaka, altnouh there was no contract signed. His aeroplane arrived Monday, and that off Aviator Wiggins of Kansas, Mo., came Tuesday, -Mr. Wiggins having been formally engaged to lly. Williams will make one flight daily, and Wiggins two daily. Both of the planes will be sent into the air at one time once or twice during the fair and will give, it is promised, as tine an exhibition as was ever witnessed in a city the size of Mishawaka. Will l ly on South Side. There is no truth in the statement that this feature of the program will be confined to the north side. The committee wishes it understood that the aeroplanes will fly over the entire city, the merchants of the south side having been most generous in their cash and merchandise donations towards the entertainment. The north side was busier Tuesday than it has ever been in its long history. Every man and boy was "on the job" and everyone was busy putting on the finishing touches for the fair. The vacant lot owned by B. B. Miller of kouth Bend, situated on the east side of Joseph St.. is being- conVerted into an improvised, stable for the horses and cattle. Stalls are being built and other conveniences arranged for, so that a guarantee can be given the farmers for the safe keep of their live stock exhibits during" ther stay in Mishawaka. The stringing of the electric lights along the streets is about completed. Supports for the extra wires required were arranged for by C. F. White of the city police force, who superintended their erection. Many of the stores and residence are being decorated with lights and bunting. Strawberries 011 Exhibit. One of the interesting exhibits in the horticulture department will be an exhibit of fresh ripe strawberries raised a mile and a half northeast of the city by Harry Worthington. The merry-go-round- has arrived and is being put up on the lot adjoining the North Side Savings bank. It is an immense affair, and is what is technically known as a three-abreast Parker carousal. It is equipped with a large orchestral organ. The coops for the poultry show were to arrive Wednesday and will be erected in a vacant building on Joseph st. Numerous entries have beea received for this feature of the fair. Thursday night's parade promises to be the best and most unique in the history of parades in Mishawaka. It is expected there will he at least 100 .loats in the procession when it leaves the north side. The otficial program was issued Tuesday evening and contains 20 pages and ( over with a complete prize list and other information.

HOMECOMING REPORTS MADE TO ASSOCIATION At a meeting of the Mishawaka Business Men's association held Tuesday evening in the parlors of the hotel Mishawaka, final reports of the various committees in regard to the recent home coming were read. The report of Carl Perkins, treasurer of tl 3 organization, showed that the association made a net profit from the home-coming of this year of over $200. The soliciting of advertising by foreign agents among Mishawaka business men was discussed at some length. It was decided that the rules in regard to this matter be hereafter more rigidly enforced. Several other important matters were discussed by the association but no action was taken. The next meeting cf the association will be held at the clothing store of Peter Lehman of Lincoln Way west. Chamber of I rogres. The corn show or product exhibit under consideration by the Mishawaka Chamber of Progress for Mishawaka next fall was the feature of the meeting of the members of that organization Tuesday evening at the hotel Mishawaka. Pres. Barrows continues in his enthusiasm for such a celebration in Mishawaka and urged that the committee appointed to secure a delegation to the Lagrange corn show this week get busy and endeavor to have a large crowd attend. The committee is planning on securing 2 5 or 30 Mishawaka business men and others to attend the show at Lttrange Thursday. A committee was appointed consisting of John Nilesfl Dr. Irwin and Stanley Mcintosh to assist Isaac Kane Parks." who has been appointed a delegate from the local organization to the convention of Indiana Federated Commercial clubs at Logansport Oct. S. 9 and 10. Mr. Parks will present the matter of taxing public unities' franchises which was taken up by the Chamber some time ago. Little other business of importance was transacted by the organization.
