The elevator boy took it down and with a pleased consciousness of tipping him well, Helen gave him the blue serge suit. It wa.s several mornings afterward that Warren looked through his closet, now hung with his summer suits, which had in the meantime been well aired and pressed. "Where's that blue serge?" he called. "Had tlnil pressed yet?" "Oh, ye?, dear, the tailor sent them all back yesterday. It's right thera -hanging right in front." "Well. I don't see it." he grumbled. What if he had already worn the suit? Hut Helen dared not think of that possibility. ".-So he stole something from you. too. did he?" was the superintendent's first cormnent when Helen asfced about the boy. "Stole something?" Why. no. but I gave him a suit of Mr. Curtis' hv mistake." The superintendent seemed relieved. "Well, he stole from other tenants that's why I had to net rid of him. I'm sorry, Mrs. Curtis, that I haven't his address, but you might get it from the employment agency where I engaged him." In desperation Helen explained about the suit. "Oh. a blue serge? Why. that's downstairs now. I wouldn't let him take it away thought lie stole that, too." "No. no. I gave it to him. Hut I thought I was giving him another suit." The superintendent, brought it up. and to Helen's infinite relief, it was wrapped in newspaper, just as she had given it to the boy. He had torn a hole in the paper to see what it was like, but plainly it had not been unwrapped. Overjoyed by her good luck, Helen promptly took the suit to the little tailoring shop around the corner to be pressed. The very next morning Warren asked about "that blue serue suit." "Yes. dear, I hail it pressed yestermore of beauty and enchantment than tongue can tell. AT Till: .MA.IFSTIC. An additional feature will be the Indian and Mexican singing ;-ketch of Tolliver and Chappelle. Al Morez. a dreamer, while transferring a scene of Cod's handiwork to his canvas, hears a cry, and turns to see a young girl falling from the rocks. He ivcs her aid ami a friendship is formed which later turns to love. The dreamer's brother Fben comes home on a vacation and steals Al's sweetheart a way and marries her. The father of the boys thinking he is about to die, gives all of his estate to Fben. who throws the dreamer out upon the world. Five years later when Fben places his old father in an asylum and then leaves his wife and child, while the former is ery ill.. Al hears of this and goes in search of his brother whom lie finds In the midst of a reckless throng. Tearing him away by physical o: e he draus him home to the bedridden wife.
