The machine is nothing short of a mechanical wonder and in its performances come as near being human as any inanimate piece of machinery could be. The machine Is known as the "International Cashier and Pay Roll Machine." It adds, subtracts, multiplies and dees all the work of the ordinary adding machine. In addition it handles money rapidly and accurately. All the operator has to do is press a few buttons and out drops the sum wanted. Gold, silver, nickle and copper coins are used. In order to obtain $21.53 for example, it is only necessary to make a few passes over the keyboard and out drops a twenty dollar gold piece, a silver dollar, a half dollar and three copper cents. The company also makes a machine that pays in bills, paper money being used exclusively from denominations of $1.00 up to $1,000, and here again the perfection of the machine is seen from the fact that the "arms" never handle but one bill at a time, no matter how many there are in the reeepta.de or how close together they are.
