Miss Grace Mcllugh. leading lady of the Colorado Motion Picture company, and Oven Carter, assistant camera man,' were drowned in the Arkansas river Wednesday. The company was engaged in producing a feature picture. "Across the Border", based on Mexican events. Miss Mcllugh was fording the river on horseback. In mid-stream she. became nervous at the swiftness of the water and checked the horse. The animal was forced under water and Miss Mcllugh was thrown into the stream. Carter leaped into the river and swam to her assistance. He reached her safely and guided her to a small sand bar. on which both emerged, apparently safe. When members of the company reached the saml bar to remove the couple beth had disappeared. Miss McHugh's body was seen floating in the liver later, but it could not be reached.
