NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE; ROOSEVELT PROGRAM
Goes to Speak For Gifford, Who is With Amos Pinchot in, Effort to Oust Perkins.
OYSTER BAY, N Y.. June .10. CV1. Roosevelt starts tomorrow morninp for his plunge into the summer campaign with his trip to Pittsburgh where he launches his attack upon the E'enrose machine and upon the AVilson administration in his keynote speech for the coming campaign. A delicate, situation faces the colonel in his entry into Pennsylvania, because of tho aggressive attacks upon Ieorge W. Perkins, by Amos Pinchot, brother of Gifford Pinchot, the former chief forester, who is running for I'nited States senator on the progressive ticket. Roosevelt has declared himself against Amos Pinchot in his effort to have Perkins thrown out of the progressive party and yet he is going Tuesday night to speak for Gifford who has backed Amos up. If Roosevelt has his way, the cag will be applied to Amos so h? will quit his animadversions upon Perkins and let well enough alone. Roosevelt will let tho Pinchots know If they hao not realized it already, that he is to insist on Perkins remaining in charge of tho party's national campaign. The colonel kept to himself at Sagamore Hill Monday except for a horseback ride through the village. No political visitors went to the hill.

NEW ORL.KANS, June CO. With one death and another known case and two other persons under suspicion. New Orleans Monda' took effective steps to guard asainPt a possible epidemic of bubonic plague.
