Counts On Early Convention to Steal Plunder of Progressives and Promote Grand Rush Back to Its Ranks.
I.VD1ANAPOUS, Marc,h 4. After fixing April 'Z'l-'l'i as the dates for the nxt republican state convention, confirm !ns the appointment by Statu Ch.airir.au Will S. Hays of L. U. Henley as .state secretary, the members o the stat'.- central committee late yesterday discussed plans for the comnm' campaign. What was generally endorsed as the sentiment of the republican party leaders In regard to the issues on which the party will appeal to the people of the state in the coming campaign for congressional, senatorial and state olhces, was outlined in a statement made by Charles Remy, former reporter of the Indiana, supreme court. Little or nothing was heard regarding who shall be chosen to make the so-called "keynote" speech as temporary chairman. There was a' general feeling that someone who is nt ofjensive to the progressives should liave this honor, which means that none of those who have held the reins jn that capacity in the past would get the lienor this year. A boom was inaugurated at the meeting of the state committee for Judire Quir.cy A. Myers, of Logansport, member of the Indiana supreme eutirt, for tli" United states senatorship. It i not positively known, however, that he would accept the task. He i at present the only republican in he state capitol elected by the people's otes. By placing the convention ahead of th" bull moosers the republicans admit hoping to steal all the thunder that the summer months might concentrate. The state committee and Lincoln league will co-operate in the campaign, the committee appoint a district chairman for the league in each of the thirteen districts and a member from (Mi !i district for the executive board "f the league, the whole organization to lie at the beck and call of the state committee. Will It. Wood, of Lafayette, was here during the meeting and. while b.e made no definite anour.cement of his candidacy for congress in the Tenth district, he said he "guessed" be'd be a candidate. Charles A. (Iicathouse will have no opposition for the democratic renomination for state superintendent of public instruction. Samuel L. Scott, of Jeffersotwille. in a formal letter to .Mr. (Ireathousc the first of the week".' announced his withdrawal and called on all friends to support Creathouse. This left the field free for the present incumbent. He will be the only democratic candidate without opposition, it now appears.

GIRLS! STOP WASHING THE HI WITH SOAP
Soap Dries Your Scalp, Causing Dandruff, Then Hair Falls Out.
After wnsbjng your hair with soap always apply a little Danderine to the scalp to invigorate the hair and preveu: dryness. Better still, use soap as sparingly as possible, and instead have a "Danderine Hair Ckanse." Just moisten a cloth with Danderine and draw it carefully througi your hair, taking one strand at a time. This will remove dust, dirt and excessive oil. In a few moments you will be amazed, your hair will not only he chan. but it will be wavy. Huffy ar.d abundant, and possess an incomparable softness and lustre. Besides cleansing and beautifying the hair, one application of Danderine dissolves ecry particle of dandruff; stimulates the scalp, stopping itching and tailing hair. Danderine is to the hair what fresh showers of rnin and sunshine are to vegetation. It sees riqht to the root., invigorates and strengthens them. Its exhilarating and life-producing properties cause the hair to grow long, strong and beautiful. Men'. Ladies! You can surely have lots of charming hair.
