One of the huge tanks; used by the Vacuum Ice Co.. corner of Kmerlck and forin sts., for the rtorage of vacuum collected from the six vacuum chambers) in the factory, collapsed early Sunday morning when the air pressure on the outside of the tank become too great. It will cost about $400 to replace the tank. The tank had been guaranteed by the manufacturers to contain GO per cent more pressure than the local company oould put Into It but failed to do so when the pumps were started Sunday.
