In these four acts of the comedy she runs through all the comic emotions; and most of the tragic ones. The Perfect Tobacco for Pipe and Cigarette
It's worth your while to try Tuxedo. Especially if a sensitive tongue prevents pipe smoking. Tuxedo positively cannot bite not even if you smoke pipeful after pipeful, as many as you can crowd into a day or a week. Tuxedo is made of only the finest, choicest, selected leaves of perfectly aged Burley tobacco. It is made by the original "Tuxedo

UY MARY CURKK. This is lab- cek at Wy man's, the lirst South liend has ever known. The ild piper of llamlln could have done no better than the ads plus the warm day to have induced both mothers and infants down town. All day loni Tuesday they came. In answer to the excited, pleading voice of "lied" Fox, advertising manaer, over the phone to "please send someone over", there were least a hundred babies to be seen. I responded. He wanted Hi Sibley, hut Hi was out or' town, so I modestly suggested a substitute. "Just a second late" "Ued" informed me by way of greeting:. "Why didn't yon hold them till I p;ot here", I demanded. The new baby rxpert pave me just one look as much as to say, "Is that all you know about babies!" I lis; face was Hushed and he looked tired and warm, but happy, oh yes. the day had been a tremendous success. "We had as many" as a hundred here at one time." suggested Mrs. A. S. Watson, head of the department, in the act of busily writing out the free certificates tor having: the baby's picture tal;en free at Rmby's Ftudlo. "Well it eertainly souri'Vil as though there were r.i'V said the youni: man, wiping his brow, indicative of the strenuous day he had put in. The department had advertised
that each child would receive, a balloon and it seems by 4 o'clock of the 1,400 balloons the store had provided as souvenirs, not one was left. The decorations, of which they formed a conspicuous part, were taken down, even the window was dismantled bo as not to disappoint the little ones, lint even so there were not enough. The department was crowded at the time tho supply was exhausted, and walls of every known pitch and intensity went up from scores of lusty little throats. Hut the children weren't half ns disappointed as Mr. Fox. There will be plenty of balloons before the week Is over and the store hopes that every child that didn't get one today will come back. The Vanta V stment Co. sent a trained nurse, Mrs. Hattle Miller of Chicago, In charge of the display. She gavo practical demonstrations to mothers how to dress the baby without pins and buttons. Mrs. Watson was kept busy supplying the demand for certificates to the photographer. He, poor man, was having his troubles too, if one can Judge from the conversation Mr. Fox had with him over the phone. "Hello. Mr. Hashy?" "Can't talk to you now." Up went the receiver and try as he would "Ued" couldn't get the "picture taking" man to the Instrument again the rest of the afternoon.
