Sunday evening in St. Iledwige's hall, the Pulish people of St. Hedw ige's jarish under the auspices oi St. John's C'antins Literary society, will combine to commemorate the olst anniversary of the ftrusgle for the emancipation of Poland from the bonds of tyranny of tho Russian empire. This anniversary will be observed by patriotic .speeches, recitals, ringings and music, touching on the heroic but futile efforts of insurrectionists to liberate the unhappy country. Kev. M. T.
