KUCITAUT. Ind.. Jan. 7. The failure of the Bristol citizens who were elected to otlires in that town on the "dtizens" ticket at the November election, to lile their Kworn statements ot campaign expenses within the 30 lays prescribed by the corrupt practices act may deprive them of the fruits of their victory. These men are M. X Clark, J. Iv-'.-s and 1 T. W. Dussel. trustees; Austin J. Menkes, clerk, and Harvey Kantz, treasurer. 'I he otncial still in office are J. W. Mitchell. M. C. Hilbish and John Kvringham. trustees; Dr. Karl Merritt, c lerk, and Clyde Hilbish, treasurer. The matter, by agreement of attorneys, lias been brought to the attention of the circuit court through a uit in mandamus filed this morning by Anthony Deahl of doshen, counsel for the victorious candidates. The argument is set for Wednesday. Hx-Judgf J. S. Dodge is attorney for the present administration. He says ithat these men do not desire to continue in otlice but that they refuse to assume the responsibility of surrendering their ollices to persons whose eligibility is in doubt.
at tiii; ami:kicax. Tom Mix and Hyrtle Stedman are to be s"en at the American theater Wednesday in a two reel special, "The Escape of Jim Dolan". His escape from prison, his wild ride of relays of horses, his capture by Apache Indians who bind him to the tail of a wild horse and his ingenious escape, breathing through his ritle by lying at the bottom of the ford are some of the big moments of this series of hairbreadth escapes. There will also be a comedy, "The Elusive Turkey".
'HAPPY IIOOLKJAX." A revival of the cartoon musical comedy, "Happy Hooligan", will be presented at the Oliver theater on Friday night of this week. The piece is being given at popular prices.
"llomanco and Duty." a two-reel feature will be shown at the Surprise theater today with a comedy, "The (lusher," in which Ford Sterling goes into the oil business and gets hold of a planted proposition. A good burlesque offering, winding up wit.i a big fire in the oil districts. A pleasing number.

Resides hearing his first casp In city court Tuesday, Judge Warner also had an opportunity to perform a marriage ceremony. As the performance of this rite is rather out of the lino of legal experience, the Judge was considerably Hiore perturbed when he undertook to unite the happy couple than when he handed out his fine in police court.
The groom at Judge Warner's first j wedding was Arthur Topper, 27, a
iarmer oi mis county and nis onae was Bessie King. Warner got on swimmingly wiih the ceremony until he came to the part where the groom is charged to ' cherish and provide" for his wife. "Neglect of Salvation" was the theme Tuesday night of Dr. T. J. Uasett of Valparaiso at the Grace M. K. revival services, one who neglects salvation he said, is lst forever and pleaded with those in the congregation, who were not Christians to come forward and accept Christ as their saviour. He t)k his text from Hebrews IIX ll-:i "How shall we escape if we neglect so grrat Salvation." "Our Saviour experienced great limitations in trying to tell of (kid's love for sinful man when he said. Tor Ood so loved the world that He ;ave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him. should not perish but have everlasting life. The speaker has no power to tell how great that salvation is. It is great in its infinite cost to the Father. It was great in its cost to the Son. It is great in its seopo in that salvation is adequate for every man of earth's teeming millions. It is great in what it saves us for and it is great in its completeness. ' The writer in Tlerhrews asks how shall we escape if wo neglect salvation. We cannot possibly escape if we neglect. There is no escape."
