F.uy a small doll's head made of papier macho and cut out the top of the head. Cover with a little crocheted cap made in single crochet. You start with three-chain stitches joined together. TJien single rroehet 'round and 'round, widening just enough each row to make a little cap. The ruffle about the face and neck is made of double crochet stitch, putting the needle twice into every third stitch. The cap can be crocheted of pale blue mercerized cotton, and the ruffle can have an edge on it of single crochet in a shade darker. Use the same shade ribbon for the bow.

S. auxiliary was pleasantly entertained in the club rooms in the Masonic temple Monday afternoon by Mesdames Mary Vitou, Mary Kreidler, Cora Downing ami Lucinda Pondurint.
