Every gift is a call to give. Elizur Sage left this morning on a business trip to Payne, Ohio. J. B. Martindale went to Chicago today to spend the day at the hospital with his wife. She is getting along very nicely and it is now expected she will be able to return home Jan. 3d. Mrs. A. L. Bouk, of Norwich, N. Dak., arrived here last Friday evening to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. S. Bates. She will probably remain about two months. Chris. Koepkey and family, including the dog, went to Francesville today for a visit of about two weeks. Chris expects to teach the Pulaskians how to hunt rabbits and eat chickens while he is away. Miss Georgia Harris came yesterday and Miss Belle Laßue today from DePauw, and the other students attending that school, viz: Grace Norris, Harriet Shedd and Madeline Ramp, will be home in a few days. On December 28th, 29th and 30th at Indianapolis the fifty-sixth annual session of the Indiana State Teachers’ Association will be held. County Superintendent Lamson and several of the teachers of the city schools will probably attend. ,
Frank Dingman, of Tama, lowa, arrived here this mornibg and went to Parr on the milk train. His wife is a daughter of Henry Lyons, the aged man who suffered a stroke of paralysis a few days ago, and she preceded her husband here about a week. i Leonard Elder and Floyd Meyers came home from Franklin a few days ago. Leonard is about recovered from his football injuries received on Thanksgiving day and is anxious for the next season to roll around so that he can get into the game again.
