Poultry Thieves Make Raid On Amil Johnson’s Hennery.
About a month ago poultry thieves visited the Frank Donnelly farm where Amil Johnson lives and stole a number of chickens and Tuesday night of this week thieves again stole three turkeys and several chickens. About the meanest thief in the world is the chicken thief. The women are largely the poultry raisers and they toil patiently through the setting and brooding periods and plan the sale of the product with a view to the purchase of some needed things for the home. And then to have their plans blasted by some contemptible sneak thief is mighty disappointing to say the least. A person is justified in loading the shotgun with regulation shells for the hen house robber.
