Too Snowy for the Women; Very Few at the Meeting.

Only about a dozen women braved the storm Monday afternoon to attend the called meeting for women to discuss the project of placing a woman on the school board. Owing to the small attendance the matter was discussed informally. IF is now said that several women of the city do not take very heartily to the project and yet all who’ attended the meeting were heartily in favor of it. . The ladies’ literary society will meet Friday afternoon with Mrs. E. P. Honan, at which time the project will: be further discussed.
