Jacob Parker Succumbs After Long Illness at Marion Home.

Word was received here Tuesday night that Jacob Parker had died at his home in Marion at 8 o’clock that evening. His sister, Mrs. Frank Kenton, and sister-in-law, Mrs. George Parker, went to Marion, this Wednesday morning to attend the funeral which will take place at Marion and for which Mr. Parker himself had made preparations. Deceased was a brother of Felix, George and Isaac Parker, of this county and of Samuel Parker, of Mitchell, S. Dak. He leaves a widow and four children, the oldest being married, one son being 22 years of age, a daughter of 16 and a son of 10. His widow is a sister of Mrs. M. 1.. Hemphill and Mrs. Austin Moore.
