WEDNESDAY. 4 Miss Carrie Eger returned today from a visit at Lowell, Mrs. Mary E. Troxell, of DeMotte, came down today for a short visit. Jay Delehanty, of Wheatfleld, was here today. Born, Tuesday, Dec. 14th, to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ellis, a daughter. Born, Tuesday, Dec. 14th, to Mr. and Mrs. N. Littlefield, a son. Miss Helen Murray came home from Western College at Oxford today to remain during the holidays. Mrs. Frank Ellis has been quite sick for sometime. Her mother, Mrs. Galbraith, is attending her. Abner and Harry Dewey and Martin pesse and wife are planning to move to Wall, S. Dak., and will go early in the spring. See my stock of buggies while you are looking for one to buy. Wilson, of Wingate, will be the judge at the boys’ corn contest to be held in connection with the farmers’ institute today and tomorrow. Mrs. James Thomson has been very low again at times not expected to live. Her sons, Charles and Terrance, who have been working in Hammond, have been called home. An examination will be held on Jan. 22nd, for a postmaster at Pleasant Ridge. Last year the office paid SSB. H. E. Lowman is the storekeeper and the present P. M. Wingard and wife, of Michigan, who have been visiting his uncle, Morgan Dewey, left this morning for Huron, S. Dak., where they will visit his brother, J. J.
