Frank Brown is shucking corn for L. A. Greenlee this week. C. Morgenegg attended the stock show at Chicago Sunday and Monday. Samuel Holmes and Dan were in Rensselaer Tuesday. } Myers has been helping Ci A. Reed shred corn for a week or two. J. J. Eiglesbaugh’s butcher, Oppa Wolf, was seen in our town Monday. Bernie Price spent Sunday with home folks. Quite a few from this locality attended Fred Markley’s sale Wednesday. Mrs. J. G. Frazee and daughter, Lora, were guests of Samuel Holmes and family Thursday night» Eli and Charley Arnold went to Chicago Tuesday to attend the stock show. T. G. Brown and wife visited with Mr. and Mrs. Max Sullivan and family Sund^. Elmer and Walter Brown spent a few days\tbe latter part of last week with friends in South America. Dan Hopkins returned home Saturday from Illinois, where he has been shucking corn. Mrs. J. C. Frazee and daughter, Lora, of Peru, are visiting friends and relatives in this locality for a week or two. Herbert and Rolla and Misses Alice and Jennie Eib spent Saturday at the stock show and land exposition in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Holmes and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Willetts and family, south of McCoysburg, Sunday. Winter has come at last ,with its heavy snows, and caught lots of corn in the fields antjjgtiredding just commenced in this locality.
