Salmon Fishing Successful in The Tippecanoe at Monticello.

Monticello Journal. Last week seems to have been the banner one of the season thus far in salmon fishing. On Thursday Bowman Rothrock caught three with hook and line Inside of three hours that weighed 6 pounds, 12 pounds and 14 pounds, or 32 pounds altogether. George Wigmore and Wm. Reynolds caught several nice ones, and on Saturday evening Miss Gale Biederwolf took four salmon and five bass off a trot line. There were reports of several other catches but Rothrock stands at the head of the list thus far as to size of fish caught.
