Windecker, The Great
Manager Ellis, of the Ellis theatre, offers a novelty In the way of entertainment for his patrons on Tuesday night when Windecker, the Great, makes his first appearance to a Rensselaer audience. As a magician he stands today on an equal with those past masters, Hermann and Bancroft, and making the present day prestidigitators such as Kellar and Thurston look to their laurels. As an added feature he is carrying a concert band of thirty musicians. Several vaudeville features gre introduced, thereby making an evening of entertainment, novelty ahd wonder. His escape from the torturing straitjacket has created no amount of comment and amazement from keepers of Institutions where such things are used. Also his death-defying feat of catching marked bullets fired from modern army rifles makes one r’t up and take notice. Taking It all in all It’s one evening of amusement, wonder and amazement. * 1
