The Traction Line Survey Is Now Coming Our Way.
Monticello Democrat. The surveyors for the proposed Northwestern Indiana Traction Line have been wmA:ing west of Reynolds this week an dr making good progress. Last week they surveyed the route from Monticello to Reynolds. The route as surveyed follows, Marion street in Monticello from Main street west to the corporation line. Thence to the south side" of the Panhandle right-of-way, following the railroad west to the Scearcy ditchf about a half mile east of Reynolds, thence in a southwesterly direction to the Reynolds and Monticello stone road a short distance east of the Mike Comus residence. Thence the road will follow Second street, which is the principal business, street of Reynolds, passing through the town on this thoroughfare, and on to near the/old A. VanVoorst place, where it angles back to the Panhandle right-of-way, leaving the VanVoorst farm on the south. The management of the proposed line seem to be pushing things as if they meant business and the people along the line are impressed yith the belief that the road will be' built in the near future.
