Grocery Clerks at Murray Store Respond to' Charity Call. The grocery clerks at the G. E. .Murray store made prompt response to the call for assistance to the family of Chas. Elder, whom the father seems to have wholly deserted. They chipped in and fixed up groceries to the value woman, who is, said to have been industrious and an unwilling seeker of alms. She accepted the articles as she has other things because she realizes that her own and her children’s health and life depended on it. There are only three living children at the Elder home, the oldest only 4 years of age and the youngest 9 months, while twins born about two years ago, both died. 0
