Proceedings of Commissioners At the December Term.

T,Jie Joliet Bridge & Iron Co. was awarded contract for a 75 foot bridge in Wheatfleld township for $1,640. The Attica Bridge Co. was awarded the contract for a 55 foot bridge in Walker township for $1,289. The Winamac Bridge Co. was awarded the contract for a 40 foot bridge in Wheatfleld township for $789. The contractor was allowed $1,472 for work on the ,Ott stone road. The re-viewers filed report in the Adams highway, showing it not to be Of public .utility. Cause dismissed. Petitioners pray an appeal. The bond of John P. Ryan as superintendent of the Smallfelt ditch was approved. „ The bond of Grant Culp as superintendent of the Culp ditch approved. The amended report was filed in the Jungles ditch with the auditor on November 24th. Separate remonstrances filed by 26 interested parties. Cause set for trial Jan. 3, 1910, for making up issues and Jan. 4, 1910, for introduction of evidence. The report of the drainage commissioners was filed in the Mathias Zimmer ditch. Same continued for objections to January term. The petitioners make proof of service in Lewis Dunker ditch. Same found sufficient. Cause docketed and continued for objections. The auditor was directed to give notice of letting contract on Dec. 22, 1909, for supplies for county officers for 1910. All bids to be flle'd by 12 o’clock noon of said day and be accompanied with sufficient bond. Roth Bros, were awarded the contract for meat for use of county farm at $11.25; John Eger for groceries at $141.50, and G. B. Porter for dry goods at $68.05. The Indiana Northwestern Traction Co. was granted a franchise to run an interurban line through the county. The quarterly report of the superintendent of the county farm wak examined and approved.

Dr. E. N. Loy was ■ appointed secretary of the county board of health. The quarterly report of the county clerk was examined and approved. Fees collected, $434. The quarterly report of the county auditor was examined and approved. Fees collected, $41.65. - The quarterly report of the county recorder was examined and approved. Fees collected, $399.50. The quarterly report of the county sheriff was examined and approved. Fees collected, $436.92. Fees earned, $669.50. The report of L. C. Huston, gravel road superintendent, examined and approved.
