Former Jasper County Man Killed In Runaway In Cuba.

Chas. and Eli Aronld learned last week that their brother, Chris, had been killed on Nov. 24th in Omaha, Cuba, where he has been for the past three years. A letter was received by Charles from the man with whom Chris was staying, saying that his horses had run away on the noon of Nov. 24th, and that he had been killed but no particulars of the accident were given. Charley at once wrote for further details of the accident, but it is now probable th: t he will leave for there one day this week. Chris was about 47 years of age and has spent considerable time in the south, having been located in Texas and later in Florida. He owned a farm near Omaha, Cuba, but his relatives here understood that he had given up farming and was engaged in teaming at Omaha. Just how much property he had or in whaU condition it is left his relatives here do not know, and if Charley goes he will look after the estate while there. Chris had no family.
