Judgment Favors Horton In Suit of Anson Cox.

The court decided the suit of Cox vs. Horton, giving the former a judgment for $188.50. Cox sued for S6OO, and presented various extra charges for changes in the plans of the building. The court kept careful tab on* all the testimony and after rendering the verdict in favor of Cox for $188.50, also allowed SSO attorney's fees against the defendant. It is stated that Horton had made Cox a tender of $2Ol in settlement but that he had brought in a bill for approximately $365. J. C. Gwin, lumber merchant, had a counter claim against Horton, alleging that he had paid the contractor SIOO, when it was an agreement that the lumber bill was to be paid before Cox was to receive this sum., ..
