Miss Vera Parker, ‘former deputy county clerk, who has been working in Chicago for the past two years, where her aunt, Miss Sadie Cody, also works, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Parker, in Hanging Grove township. Bert Hanaway will be the auctioneer. Harry Eger recovered his bird dog by a Republican classified ad. G. H. Hillis, who lives 6 miles west of Fair Oaks, found the dog and notified the owner after seeing the ad in the Republican. Harry went after the dog Sunday and game in this section will suffer in consequence. John Braddock and Mel Haas left this morning for So. 'Louis, Mich., where John expects to remain this winter with his brother, who is Interested with hiiri in a iarge estate.
